HHLab

Hydraulic and Hydromorphology laboratory

The Hydraulics and Hydromorphology Laboratory (HHLab) is a 350 m² experimental facility comprising three physical models (built and fitted out between 2013 and 2017). This facility is dedicated to the study of processes associated with river flow and flow in heavily human-modified environments.

It comprises:

  •    a wide channel with a fixed longitudinal slope
  •    a tilting channel
  •    a tilting urban model for flood risk assessment (MURI)

the characteristics of which are detailed below.
